Matthew Shefras, Managing Director of Forty Asset Management, is widely regarded as a leading advisor in non-residential consultancy, working with many of the G15 Housing Associations and developers. Matthew has worked in commercial property for over 22 years, being a senior director of a leading central London retail and restaurant agency, as well as being an in-house consultant to the Estee Lauder group of companies.
Matthew established Forty Asset Management in 2006. Since then, Matthew has been working closely with developers, using his in depth knowledge of the practical matters affecting the development of commercial property. His best skill is undoubtedly in unlocking tricky situations.
Having advised on many developments from conception through to build, Matthew is able to assist on all aspects on the project from use, specification build and marketing. He has a passion for complex and difficult transactions that need detailed analytical approach. He never accepts that something can't be done and his track record speaks for itself. Matthew is a keen traveler and has a love of adventure and getting off the beaten path.

Mike D. Dobey, has spent the last ten years of his professional career in commercial property management having gained experience both in the public and private sector.
The bulk of his experience comes from his tenure at the reputable global real estate firm, Jones Lang LaSalle where he spent five years working on commercial retail assets for notable institutional landlords, investment funds and blue chip property company clients.
He was then appointed Commercial Portfolio Manager for Genesis Housing Association and managed its entire non-residential portfolio (comprising of retail spaces, offices, garages and car parks) estimated in excess of £35 million. Mike introduced a commercial property framework to facilitate on-going and post transactional asset management, by defining and coordinating relevant professional services including commercial agency, building surveying, legal advice and property management.
Mark McIvor MA MSc MRICS MRTPI
Head of Research – Forty
Mark is a qualified town planner and commercial property surveyor with 15 years experience in England and Scotland. He specialises in providing planning, development and valuation advice on a wide variety of complex commercial and residential development sites and understands the commercial value of gaining a good planning permission.
Mark’s has worked in Central London since 2007 and his development advice covers acquisition and disposal, valuation, affordable housing, and financial viability advice.
In particular, Mark enjoys assisting clients with specialist planning and development advice to deliver complex commercial and residential proposals. His key skill is working with clients to identify opportunities to add value and clearly demonstrate the commercial and economic benefits of proposals to targeted audiences.
Stephen Fixman BSc MRICS

Stephen Fixman has been working in various disciplines within the commercial property field for over 30 years.
In 1983 he started his career at Anthony Green & Spencer (AGS) where he spent 25 years dealing with general agency matters, single investment sales, portfolio investment sales and development consultancy.
During the last 5 years of his tenure at AGS, he was involved with the Arsenal Regeneration Development and was responsible for negotiating surrenders for the occupiers of the football stadium site. Stephen also advised on end occupiers for the Highbury Studios scheme on Holloway Road.
Since Stephen & Matthews was established in 2003 Stephen has been involved in establishing the agency and has concluded numerous transactions. Stephen has acted solely for established brands including Gail’s Artisan Bakery who now trade from 30 units and Gymbox the “trendiest” gym operator in London who now have 8 sites trading. He is also involved with large investment sales.
David Toubian BSc MRPAS

David Toubian is widely recognised as a leading advisor in retail and leisure property. His area of expertise lies in providing strategic property advice to embryonic and major UK Landlords and operators and foreign chains in their expansion in London and The UK.
David is a retained adviser to a number of Europe's most popular landlords and cutting edge retail, restaurant and leisure brands, which he has been instrumental in advising from inception, and often his clients attract equity investment deals early in the growth process.
David has advised on schemes in central London for landlords such as Derwent London, City of London, UK Real Estate and Yianis Group to name a few. He enjoys unlocking and adding value for landlord clients with sizeable development opportunities, in promising locations from inception to completion, but is best known in the market for his success in migrating foreign brands from Europe in to Central London.
